BHN Daily Links: Jack Hughes Ready To Get Going, McDavid Hopeful For Training Camp

The final week of August has begun, which means it is only a matter of weeks until training camps begin throughout the NHL. The NHLPA held their annual Rookie Showcase in Arlington, VA where some of the top prospects from around league were in town for a photoshoot with Upper Deck. With prospect tournaments right around the corner, two teams announced rosters for the Traverse City tournament. Here is the news for Tuesday, August 27th.

The New York Rangers announced their roster for the upcoming Traverse City Tournament and leading the way for the Rangers are Kaapo Kakko and Adam Fox. (Newsday)

Over at the BioSteel Camp, Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid gave an update on his knee injury and hopes to be ready for the start of training camp in September. (TSN)
