BHN Daily Links: Bruins Rask In Top 10 Countdown
The NHL Network continued their look at the top players right now by position this past weekend with a dive into the league’s top goaltenders. There might not be a more debated goaltender in the league right now than Tuukka Rask, who continues to put up great numbers but seemingly can’t please the Boston faithful. Rask’s status as a top goaltender was confirmed this past weekend when NHL Network placed him firmly inside their top ten in the NHL today. That shouldn’t come as a surprise.
Here’s what else is going on as we kick off the final week of August, and by extension summer.
The #NHLTopPlayers countdown rolled on with a look at the top ten goaltenders in the league this past weekend. To the surprise of no one, Tuukka Rask was firmly inside the countdown’s top ten. Rask clocked in at number five. (NHL.com)
Noah Dobson slipped all the way to the 12th pick of the 2018 draft, where the Islanders stole him. The QMJHL standout has done nothing but perform since being picked, and is now closing in on a professional career. He believes he is ready to turn pro right now. (Eyes on Isles)
Good news in Colorado, as Avs prospect Connor Timmins is good to go for rookie camp. Timmins has been dealing with concussion issues, but suffered no setbacks over the summer and is ready to resume a promising career. (Colorado Hockey Now)
