Murphy: Sweeney Needs To Get Creative Like Dubas (BHN+)

Say what you want about 33-year-old Toronto Maple Leafs general Kyle Dubas being too young to run an NHL team or that he depends too much on analytics, as many critics continue to suggest. That may be true; it may not. During this offseason though, he’s twice done something Don Sweeney, the GM of his team’s longtime rival, the Boston Bruins, has been unable to do: create much-needed salary cap space with creative trades.
