Boston Bruins

This is tough to hear for Boston Bruins fans but the Montreal Canadiens can punch their ticket to the Stanley Cup Final tonight with a win over the Vegas Golden Knights.

If the Bruins had advanced past the New York Islanders and then the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Bruins and the Montreal Canadiens could’ve met in the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 1978 but we digress.

Speaking of the Lightning, they missed a chance to advance to their second straight Cup Final and a third in the last six seasons. The New York Islanders forced a Game 7 with a 3-2 overtime win in Game 6 Wednesday.

I know it’s hard for Boston Bruins fans to cheer for the Montreal Canadiens but at least be happy for their fans and more specifically the city of Montreal. I lived there for two years and it is a city full of wonderful people and amazing hockey fans. For a city that’s still dealing with strict COVID restrictions, this playoff run has meant everything and united a city. (Montreal Gazette

Rick Westhead has exposed the Chicago Blackhawks in what appears to be a major cover-up of sexual abuse of players from a team employee. Any Blackhawks or former Blackhawks employees who were aware of this should be ashamed and pay the price for turning a blind eye! (TSN)
