Bruins Hire Chris Kelly As Player Development Coordinator

The Boston Bruins announced on Thursday that they have hired Chris Kelly as Player Development Coordinator and Andrew Dicksonas an Amateur Scout. Kelly was part of the 2011 Bruins team that won the Stanley Cup. The Toronto native spent last season as the Development Coach for the Ottawa Senators.

Prior to working for the Sens last season, Kelly played 14 seasons as a center and left wing in the NHL, six seasons with the Boston Bruins. Kelly appeared in 288 games with the Bruins, amassing 43 goals and 58 assists for 101 points. During that 2011 Cup run, Kelly had five goals and eight assists in 25 games. Kelly had 123 goals, 168 assists, and 291 points in 845 games with the Ottawa Senators, Boston Bruins, and Anaheim Ducks, in the NHL. Kelly was drafted by the Senators in the third round (94th overall) of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. He helped the Sens to the 2007 Stanley Cup Final.

Dickson has spent 11 seasons as an NHL scout, working for the Red Wings (2013-2019) and the Columbus Blue Jackets (2008-2013.
