BHN Puck Links: Boston Bruins Go For A Fairy Tale Halloween
It’s a tradition every season that the Boston Bruins get dressed up for Halloween and interact with young B’s fans, and this year was the same. This time it was a Snow White and the Seven Dwarves-themed complete with rookie goaltender Jeremy Swayman getting the “Snow White” honors.

Here’s the rundown on the Bruins players that were dressed up: Charlie McAvoy went as “Doc,” Jeremy Swayman as “Snow White,” Charlie Coyle as “Sleepy,” Nick Foligno as “Happy,” Brandon Carlo as “Grumpy,” Karson Kuhlman as “Dopey,” Mike Reilly as “Sneezy,” Connor Clifton as “Bashful,” and Derek Forbort as “The Evil Queen.”
For a guy like Nick Foligno, who had personal experience with one of his children being treated at Boston Children’s Hospital, it was something he wouldn’t have missed.
“I’ve been on the other side as a parent,” said Foligno. “That little moment, where you can change a kid’s day when they’re going through something so hard, is so gratifying to see as a parent. I think (the team), we get a reward out of it as well, so it’s a win-win, and it’s really fun for us.”
The Boston Bruins have Monday off completely, so it sounds like the players might have been able to go out and enjoy their own team Halloween party this weekend as well. Hope everybody had a safe and candy-filled Halloween!

It’s crazy that it’s been a decade since this happened. (ESPN.com)
*And in the spirit of Halloween, a great tribute to the masked men of hockey.
OTD in 1959, after taking a shot from Andy Bathgate in the nose, Jacques Plante leaves the game & returns wearing a mask.
This is a (mega) thread to Plante & to the mask wearers who followed. Some great goalies/masks do not appear & some appear more than once.#halloween2021 pic.twitter.com/QAvngwJUQ9
