Halfway through another work week. Here is the top hockey news for Wednesday, February 13th. Today’s stories include Evgeni Malkin suspended, Lightning topple the Flames, Scheifele’s big night, David Pastrnak injured, Blues blitz the Devils, Toronto gets revenge on Colorado, and Mika Zibanejad’s scoring streak.

Top Hockey News for Wednesday, February 13th

Evgeni Malkin was suspended one game by the NHL for swinging his stick at Flyers player Michael Raffl.

On a night of scoring in the NHL, it was Nikita Kucherov and the Lightning dousing the red hot Flames.

While the Rangers tried their best, they were no match for Mark Scheifele and the Winnipeg Jets.

After suffering a freak injury, the Bruins will be without the services of David Pastrnak for a couple of weeks.

It was men against boys as the Blues put on a hockey clinic against the Devils.

After a poor effort the week before against Colorado, the Maple Leafs power play erupts to enact some revenge.

Despite a disappointing season, Mika Zibanejad is soaring to new heights as he extends his goal scoring streak.
