Each week, Boston Hockey Now Lead Bruins Reporter and Columnist Joe Haggerty and our resident NHL Insider and rover will go over the week that was for the Boston Bruins. Haggs and Murph will dissect the games, the lineup and look at both positive and not so positive trends developing with the Black and Gold.

As they both do with their writing, the two veteran puck scribes will also keep you on the inside so you know what’s real and what’s a rumor when it comes to the Bruins and the NHL. Together, Haggs and Murph have racked up quite a Blackbook over the years and are constantly talking to NHL insiders (NHL management, coaches, players, agents, scouts, etc.) to gather intel and decipher what the Bruins and other teams are really up to on the NHL Trade and Free Agent markets.

Haggs has been on the Bruins beat since 2003 and Murph since 2001. Both of them covered the 2011 Boston Bruins Stanley Cup run, as well as two other Stanely Cup finals and too many playoff battles to count. The two longtime colleagues have also traveled with the team on the road and have some tales of their own and together as they chronicled the Bruins on the road.
