Wahlstrom Won’t Play:
Bruins interim head coach Joe Sacco said earlier today that newly acquired forward Oliver Wahlstrom will not play tonight.
The Bruins claimed Wahlstrom off waivers from the New York Islanders over the weekend but aren’t inserting him into the lineup just yet after a dominant win over the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday.

Last Time Out:
After a brutal start to their road trip, the Bruins got themselves back on track on with a 5-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday.
Brad Marchand, Morgan Geekie, Pavel Zacha, Marc McLaughlin, and David Pastrnak all scored goals in the victory. Pastrnak himself finished the night with four points as he also had three assists, while Jeremy Swayman made 19 saves in net.
The Opponent:
After a hot start to the year, the Calgary Flames have cooled off lately and have fallen out of playoff position in the Western Conference.
Calgary is 3-5-2 in its last 10 games but is coming off a 3-0 win over the Florida Panthers on Saturday in its last time out.
Dustin Wolf made 32 saves in the shutout over Florida and is expected to start in net for the Flames tonight against the Bruins. In 15 starts, Wolf owns a record of 9-5-1, a 2.65 goals-against average, and a .915 save percentage.
Jonathan Huberdeau and Nazem Kadri share the lead for Calgary in goals, as each has 11 so far this year. Andrei Kuzmenko will not play tonight and is out with an upper-body injury.
Like the Bruins, the Flames are among the lowest-scoring teams in the NHL this season.
They average 2.61 goals per game (26th) and are middle-of-the-road in terms of team defense, allowing 3.03 goals per game (15th). Calgary’s penalty kill has been especially poor, as it ranks 29th in the league while operating at 71.6%.
In their one previous matchup this season, the Bruins defeated the Flames 4-3 in overtime back on Nov. 7 at TD Garden.
