NHL Trade

With one Bruins’ trade target pulled off the market already, could another fall off on Monday, a week before the NHL Trade Deadline?

Could former Montreal Canadiens and current Columbus Blue Jackets winger Max Domi make sense as a playoff rental for the Bruins?

That and all the latest NHL trade rumors in the latest Bruins Wrap:

Boston Bruins

Did the Boston Bruins see one of their top NHL trade targets, Arizona Coyotes defenseman Jakub Chychrun, fall off the NHL trade market during their 3-2 win over the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday night at TD Garden?

Another potential trade target and playoff rental for the Boston Bruins, Dallas Stars defenseman John Klingberg, is definitely off the NHL trade market.

Would Columbus Blue Jackets winger Max Domi make sense for the Bruins as a depth playoff rental before the NHL Trade Deadline?

The third line for the Boston Bruins continues to build chemistry and produce. On Saturday, Craig Smith stepped up with two goals and Charlie Coyle scored the game-winner.

My partner-in-scribe at BHN, Joe Haggerty wrote about Craig Smith getting hot at the perfect time for the Bruins.

Pittsburgh: Could the native son of North Easton, MA and Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman John Marino be headed north to La Belle Province or to the northwest and VAN City before the NHL Trade Deadline?

Philly: With Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog headed for knee surgery Monday, the price for Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux on the NHL trade market just got higher.

Washington: The Marc-Andre Fleury to the Washington Capitals NH trade rumor just won’t die. Sportsnet Insider Elliotte Friedman added fuel to the fire Saturday night.

Florida: Jonathan Huberdeau is the best helper the Florida Panthers have ever had as he now holds the team’s all-time assist record.

Detroit: The Detroit Red Wings once again are benefiting from an infusion of Swedish hockey talent into their NHL team and their organizational depth chart.

Colorado: The Fleury to the Colorado Avalanche trade rumors won’t die either.

Montreal: With NHL defenseman dropping like flies with injuries the past few days, the demand on the NHL trade market for a rugged two-way defenseman like Montreal Canadiens rearguard Ben Chiarot has risen again.

Hall of fame puck scribe Larry Brooks brings it once again in his weekly Slap Shots column and suggests that the New York Rangers may be just as, if not worse, up the middle in the coming years than the Bruins.

Finally, with only four days until St. Patrick’s Day and seven until Parade day in two of my favorite places, Holyoke and Montreal, it’s  for your Irish track of the day. This actually came on my Chieftains Pandora channel as I was writing this Wrap and it immediately made me think of those loved ones being separated by the war in Ukraine. Won’t lie, it got dusty in here.
