The Boston Bruins dropped their second dud in less than two weeks. Should Bruins fans be worried?



Patrice Bergeron made it clear again that he’s not signing any extensions with the Boston Bruins until after the season, if at all.

Montreal Canadiens defenseman Jeff Petry reportedly ask for a trade back in December. This news comes as teams head off to their All-Star breaks, and the NHL trade chatter is really picking up. So could he and others around the NHL switch teams in the coming week?

On Saturday night, that was never more obvious as Petry didn’t do anything to stand up for his teammate Sam Montembeaut when Edmonton Oilers forward Zack Kassian barreled the Habs goalie over behind the net. 

On Monday, TSN 690 host Tony Marinaro shed some light on the subject that may explain the way Petry has acted on and off the ice and reported that Petry asked for a trade in mid-December. (TSN 690)
