The Boston Bruins had a relatively calm and peaceful day Wednesday after a tumultuous Monday and Tuesday. We look back on one of the more chaotic days in recent team history in the latest Boston Hockey Now Puck Links:

After Boston Bruins winger Brad Marchand was suspended on Monday, the Bruins began their day Tuesday with some troublesome news. Head coach Bruce Cassidy was placed in COVID protocol – thankfully with minor symptoms – and the Providence Bruins were in the midst of a rapid COVID outbreak that has since forced the AHL to reschedule their games for this weekend. Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney then met with the media to address the COVID issues, the Jake DeBrusk trade request, Tuukka Rask and the Bruins goalie situation, and his assessment of the team at the quarter mark. As far as Rask goes, more and more it appears he’ll be donning the spoked B again soon. (BHN)

During the Bruins’ game with the Detroit Red Wings Tuesday night, Boston Bruins fans showered DeBrusk with boos and team president Cam Neely ripped DeBrusk on the 98.5 The Sports Hub first period intermission show. (BHN)

Sweeney confirmed he’s been fielding plenty of calls on DeBrusk from interested teams on the NHL trade market but DeBrusk didn’t do a great job increasing his trade value in a 2-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings Tuesday night. (BHN)
