BHN Puck Links: Boston Bruins Welcome Media Back With Hilarious Video

The Boston Bruins were finally back on the ice as training camp began in earnest Thursday morning but before that, they welcomed back the local media contingent that they missed so much!

What are the three biggest question marks surrounding the Boston Bruins as camp begins?

Jack Eichel is no longer the captain of the Buffalo Sabres. Will Eichel trade talks heat up again?

Evander Kane is far from out of the woods as far as his life and playing career getting back to normal.

That and more in the latest BHN Puck Links!

Boston Bruins

Before training camp began, the Boston Bruins players made sure they let the local media contingent, who can once again ask questions in person, how much they missed us.

Who will become the second-line center for the Boston Bruins this season? The answer to that and two more burning questions that surrounded the Bruins as training camp kicked off Thursday. (BHN)

Things between Boston Bruins winger Jake DeBrusk and head coach Bruce Cassidy appear to be copesetic now. (BHN)

As expected, Boston Bruins center Charlie Coyle began training camp in a red, non-contact jersey and did not skate with the regular groups. My Irish compadre, Joe Haggerty has more on that, and your line combos and defensive pairings from Group A at the first day of on-ice camp sessions. (BHN)

With Coyle out, could rookie forward Jack Studnicka emerge as the second line pivot for the Boston Bruins? Thanks to Charlie Coyle being ‘limited’ to begin training camp, the 22-year-old hopeful will get his chance. (BHN)

Once again the Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, and TD Garden are doing the right thing when it comes to COVID Protocol. For those who think their attendance requirements will diminish attendance, that’s about as delusional as thinking the vaccine doesn’t work or COVID is just the flu! (BHN)

If you’re going to the New England Patriots game against the New Orleans Saints this Sunday at Gillette Stadium, there’s a solid chance you’ll see Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak. ‘Pasta’ has been spotted at a New England Revolution game and at Fenway Park to watch the Red Sox battle for a wild card spot. Will he complete the Boston Sports hat trick Sunday?

How great is this to watch? Game on!

Former Boston Bruins center Joe Thornton will once again wear his customary No. 19 for the Florida Panthers after wearing No. 97 last season with the Toronto Maple Leafs. (Florida Hockey Now)

Let the Jack Eichel NHL trade rumors commence again! After failing his physical on Wednesday, Eichel was stripped of his captaincy and placed on long-term injury reserve by Sabres GM Kevyn Adams. What a bleep-show this Sabres organization continues to be! (TSN)

After failing their physicals Wednesday, Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price and forwards Mike Hoffman and Paul Byron have been ruled out for training camp. (Sportsnet)

Murph’s Music Track Of The Day

Finally, with this being the 72nd birthday of one of my favorite musicians, Bruce Springsteen, what better day to bring back my music picks for you? Except for today, I decided to let you the readers and my followers on Twitter decide the track!

So, since there sadly only two replies, I’m posting both, as well as, one of my favorite Bruce live concerts!
