BHN Daily: The Cutest Hockey Video You’ll See Today

Published

on

Some days it’s about the Boston Bruins here at BHN Daily, and some days it’s just about our love for the game of hockey.

Today it’s about the cutest hockey goal you’re ever going to see from a toddler in the Netherlands just learning to play the game.

Rather than puck-handle and carry the puck to the net for the goal, the smart little whippersnapper eased the degree of difficulty for his goal.

Now that’s super cute and super smart and should brighten up everybody’s day moving forward as trudge through COVID-19, remote learning and everything else going on in the world.

Now on to the puck links:

*Far from playing a cute game, Trent Frederic is embracing the role as an agitator and a highly effective one for the Boston Bruins. (Boston Hockey Now)

*I’d like to congratulate 98.5 the Sports Hub for the dopiest sports discussion over the last week as they continue to push these trade scenarios where the Bruins should deal David Pastrnak or Charlie McAvoy for Jack Eichel. Ummm, no. (98.5 the Sports Hub)

*Brent Burns defends teammate Joakim Blichfeld after he threw a high hit ad Nathan MacKinnon during a Sharks shutout loss to the Avalanche. Blichfeld was given a match penalty during the game. (San Jose Hockey Now)

*The Edmonton Oilers are reeling after getting dominated by the Toronto Maple Leafs in a three-game series between the two North Division rivals. (Edmonton Sun)

*It looks like my friends in Winnipeg that were recently laid off by sports radio up there are starting their own YouTube channel. I’ll be happy to support these talented folks in the endeavor.

*NHL players are really curbing what they are doing outside the hockey rink to avoid COVID-19 postponements and it seems to be working. (AP Sports)

*For something completely different: It looks like it’s going to get even more difficult to secure a COVID-19 vaccine appointment in Massachusetts. That’s just super. (Fox 25 News)
