The ‘Lunch Pail’ mentality continues to transcend through the lineage of Boston Bruins players. They may not fight as much but that’s more thanks to the evolution of the game and phasing out of fisticuffs. As the most recent grinders on the Bruins prove though, that identity still exists. 

“They’re the guys you hate to play against,” Bruins winger Brad Marchand, who himself, broke into the NHL on the Bruins’ fourth line in 2009-10, said after the Bruins’ 4-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.
