Brent Sutter Rooting For Jake DeBrusk To Be A Complete Player | BHN+

As Boston Bruins winger Jake DeBrusk noted to the media after signing a two-year, $7.2 million contract on Monday, consistency remains one of, if not his biggest issue, as he prepares for his fourth season in the NHL. 

Former NHLer and current Red Deer Rebels head coach Brent Sutter coached DeBrusk for just 37 games in the 2015-16 season. In his final season in the WHL, Jake DeBrusk was traded from the Swift Current Broncos to the Rebels on December 27, 2015. If one was to read Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney’s and DeBrusk’s comments after he signed and then listen to Sutter react to the deal, it was as if all three were reading from the same script.
