BHN Puck Links: A Whole New World For The Boston Bruins, NHL

Published

on

Interesting talk about the potential for a temporary NHL realignment for next season with the all-Canadian division, and how it would impact teams like the Boston Bruins around the league. It would be fairly significant for the Bruins, who would at least start next season without playing games against usual Atlantic Division rivals like the Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators. It would be very weird to have a regular season without any Bruins/Habs games if it takes a long time for the US and Canada to figure out travel across the borders.

But it would potentially put a premium on the Boston/New York rivalry with the Islanders, Rangers, Sabres and Devils in Boston’s division along with the Washington Capitals, Philadelphia Flyers and Carolina Hurricanes.

Interesting to see how it’s all going to play out, but it’s very clear that we should buckle up because it’s going to be another highly unusual NHL regular season. Now on to the links:
