Bruins And Torey Krug Continue To Spin Different Tales | BHN +

We may never know what exactly happened between now-former Bruins defenseman Torey Krug and the Boston Bruins that led to him signing a seven-year, $45 million contract with the St. Louis Blues on Friday night after spending the first nine seasons of his NHL career with the Bruins. One thing is for sure though, since Krug entered this past season, the final one of his four-year, $21 million contract with the Bruins, the high-scoring defenseman and Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney have conveyed two completely different versions of their negotiations or in Krug’s opinion lack thereof.
