The Boston Bruins have won four straight games and all three since the conclusion of the All-Star Break. On Tuesday night, the Bruins blanked the Pacific Division leading Vancouver Canucks 4-0 at TD Garden. After the game, inside the Bruins dressing room, Charlie McAvoy spoke to the media.
Among the things McAvoy was asked about was his thoughts on the team’s recent hot streak. He credited the club’s style as a big reason why the wins are flowing once more.
“We’re playing hard and we’re playing fast,” McAvoy told reporters after the Bruins win. “Our forwards are so good at forechecking and the transition side of the game. If we can get up and make plays and just really move our feet, I think that really plays into our style and our hand and we’ve been able to do that.”
McAvoy also acknowledged the club’s goaltending, calling it “terrific” during this recent stretch.
McAvoy addressed his offensive struggles this season, the forward’s role in Tuesday’s win and much more inside the locker room postgame. BHN’s Jimmy Murphy was in the scrum and has the video of McAvoy’s thoughts.
