BHN Daily Links: Bruins Kuraly Backs Backes

Fans of the Boston Bruins don’t agree on much. One thing they do agree on? That the club should have moved on from David Backes during the off-season. The locker room does not share that sentiment, however. Sean Kuraly was the second Bruin to speak out in favor of Backes earlier this week, crediting the veteran with his adjustment to the NHL. Here are Saturday’s top stories.

Sean Kuraly spoke to a radio station in Maine this past week and backed his veteran teammate David Backes. Kuraly credited Backes’ leadership skills and experience. He was the second Bruin to publicly support Backes since May. (Boston Hockey Now)

The Edmonton Oilers will officially unveil their new third jerseys on September 14th. This will be part of the club’s second annual ‘Fan Day’ at Rogers Place in downtown Edmonton. (The Oilers Rig)
