The Boston Bruins held an optional morning skate in advance of Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final against the St. Louis Blues Monday night. There will be no changes to the Bruins lineup but the big news from the skate Monday was that injured defenseman Matt Grzelcyk (undisclosed) is improving and is close to returning, though he will remain out of the lineup for Game 4.

“Better than where he was, Bruce Cassidy told the media. “So there is a chance he returns in the series before it is over.”

Grzelcyk left Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final after his head hit the glass from an Oskar Sundqvist boarding penalty. Sundqvist received a one-game suspension for that hit and missed Game 3 for St. Louis.

Here’s what the Bruins lineup will look like for Game 4 as there are no lineup changes.

Marchand – Kuhlman – Pastrnak
DeBrusk – Krejci – Backes
Johansson – Coyle – Heinen
Nordstrom – Kuraly – Acciari

Moore – Clifton
Vaakanainen – Kampfer
