Weymouth, MA native, and Boston Bruins F Charlie Coyle penned an amazing letter in The Players’ Tribune to all his family and friends who helped him and supported him as he grew up dreaming of playing for the Boston Bruins and winning a Stanley Cup. One of those dreams have already come through after he was dealt to Boston from Minnesota just prior to the trade deadline back in February and now he has a chance to hoist the Cup potentially on TD Garden ice and at another Duck Boat Parade in Boston if the Bruins can beat the St. Louis Blues in the 2019 Stanley Cup Final that begins in Boston Monday night.

“Boston is in my blood. Boston raised me. This place is my home,” Coyle wrote.

Coyle has done his best to help the city of Boston throw it’s third championship parade within a year as he has six goals and six assists in 17 playoff games.
