It is a new day as it is out with the old and in with the new. Out is the Puck Wire section featuring the latest NHL news from Murphy’s Hockey Law. It is our new BHN Daily Links section. The stories making news on Wednesday, May 8th Edition of BHN Daily Links include Blues Need Extra Time to Advance, Charlie McAvoy suspended for Game 1, Ken Holland hired in Edmonton, Florida has interest in Malkin, Nick Foligno says Columbus will be back, and Jack Hughes solidifies Number One Pick.

In another exciting Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Blues and Stars battled late into the night. Hometown boy Pat Maroon scored the game-winner in Double OT to send the Blues to the Western Conference Final.

Boston Bruins Defenseman Charlie McAvoy was suspended one game for his illegal check on Josh Anderson and will miss Game 1.

The Edmonton Oilers made it official announcing Ken Holland as the new General Manager and President of Hockey Ops.
