Halfway through another work week. Lots of great hockey action last night. Here is the top hockey news for Wednesday, January 9th. Top hockey news for Wednesday, January 9th

The Vegas Golden Knights are back to fine form, winning their seventh game in a row.

With fighting down in the NHL, there was a rare heavyweight tilt between two tough guys.

After what happened to Connor McDavid Sunday night, the NHL must do more to protect star players.

Ever since Jim Lite called out the top players on the Stars, Tyler Seguin is on a six-game point streak.

In today’s NHL holding out for more money is never a good thing, as William Nylander continues to find that out the hard way.

After being named to the All-Star, Andrei Vasilevskiy gets a bounce back shutout win.

Erik Karlsson is in rare territory as he is the fifth defenseman in NHL history to record assists in 15 straight games.
